Colombo, the bustling capital of Sri Lanka, offers a diverse range of activities for visitors. You can explore historical and cultural landmarks such as the Gangaramaya Temple and Independence Memorial Hall, enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Galle Face Green with its stunning ocean views and street food vendors, or unwind in the lush Viharamahadevi Park. The city also boasts excellent shopping opportunities at modern malls like Colombo City Centre and One Galle Face, as well as traditional markets in Pettah. 🗓️ Day 1 – Arrival in Colombo → Negombo
Meet & greet at Bandaranaike International Airport by your friendly local guide (Manoj).
Short transfer to Negombo, the coastal fishing town near the airport.
Relax by the beach or enjoy a sunset lagoon cruise.
Overnight stay in Negombo.
🗓️ Day 2 – Negombo → Sigiriya (Cultural Triangle Begins)
After breakfast, drive to Sigiriya, the heart of Sri Lanka’s cultural heritage.
Visit Dambulla Cave Temple, famous for its golden Buddha statues and murals.
Check in and unwind at your hotel surrounded by nature.
Overnight stay in Sigiriya.
🗓️ Day 3 – Sigiriya → Polonnaruwa → Sigiriya
Early morning climb to the majestic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Afternoon visit to Polonnaruwa, the ancient capital of Sri Lanka, known for its stone temples and royal ruins.
